Peptide CRM ("the Application") is a private, internal business tool used exclusively by its owner to manage customer relationships, inventory, and business analytics. This Privacy Policy describes how data is collected, used, and protected.

2. Data We Collect

• Customer contact information (name, phone number, social handles)
• Order and transaction records entered manually by the business owner
• Internal notes and follow-up tasks
• Financial data retrieved from QuickBooks Online via the Intuit API (read-only Profit & Loss reports)
• Session authentication data (encrypted session cookies)

3. How We Use QuickBooks Data

The Application connects to QuickBooks Online solely to display Profit & Loss reports on an internal analytics dashboard. Specifically:

• We request read-only access to accounting data via the Intuit Accounting scope.
• Financial data retrieved from QuickBooks is displayed only to the authenticated business owner.
• No QuickBooks data is stored permanently in our database — it is fetched on demand and displayed in real time.
• QuickBooks data is never shared with, sold to, or accessible by any third party.

4. Data Storage & Security

All application data is stored in a private PostgreSQL database hosted on Render (render.com). OAuth tokens for QuickBooks are stored encrypted in the database and used only to authenticate API requests. The application is protected by password authentication and HTTPS.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share any data with third parties. Data is used exclusively for internal business management purposes by the application owner.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Data is retained for as long as the business requires it. The business owner may delete any customer record or disconnect QuickBooks at any time from within the application. To request complete data deletion, contact us at the email below.

7. Cookies

The Application uses a single session cookie solely to maintain login state. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.

8. Your Rights

As this application is for internal use only, the sole user is the business owner who has full access and control over all data within the application.
